Sometimes instead of printing your map in a template format, you want to use it as a base in ArcMap or within another document as an image. These simple steps will allow you to do just that! First, navigate to your Home tab.
In the section with printing, you will see an option to export. Click that button.
Select your image format you wish to export to. You can also choose to include georeferenced data which will allow you to pull this image into Google Earth and ArcGIS Desktop and the image will fall right where it actually is on the globe.
